Improving Literacy through School Libraries

If any of your school districts appear on the list below, your district is eligible for the Improving Literacy through School Libraries competitive grant (http://www2.ed.gov/programs/lsl/index.html) as your district has a poverty rate over 20%. The grant applications are due April 20 and you can request up to
$600,000. If any of your school districts qualify, please pass this information on to your district officials and offer to help them write the grant. This may be last significant grant available for school library programs.
